03/09/2007 Olimpia at LYON, MODE CITY The traditional underwear's and beachwear's fair of Lyon have taken place from the 1 to 3 september. In 22 years of existence, Lyon Mode City confirm to be the global benchmark show for players as international weavers, fabric specialists and garment manifacturers. For Lyon Mode City major accounts were present for this event with an increase of "gold" buyers for finished products,  with a result of + 8,7% overall with a particularly impressive increase of foreigners from Germany, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, etc.... The difficult economic situation due to a drop in consuption value, a bad season and the absence of certain key brand, caused an important decrease of French retail ( - 22,3%). The 2007 total visitors number is 17.404, of whom 11.461 international and only 5.943 french. Olimpia has presented its new spring/summer 2008 collection, five lines which mixed the different tendency of young and less-young generations.
